CIPP Lining vs Pipe Bursting

Reading the comparison
The most useful way to think about it: lining rebuilds a pipe that is still there, and bursting supplies a pipe where the old one has effectively stopped working. A line with root intrusion at clay joints and hairline cracks is a lining candidate. A line with a caved section, a separated joint or crushed pipe is a bursting candidate — or an excavation one.
Cost is not the deciding factor
